five meter bowls

Thinking of how to show pieces at Örebro exhibition. One option is a five meter long table for the bowls, would look something like this. Think the room is too short, though.

Still have a terrible cold, don't get much done. Went to a presentation this morning with friend and soft voiced jazz singer Malin Enberg, listen here!

We share a secret love to File Maker, a computer data base program, which was the topic of the day.

Up the hill to my studio is this tree, a salutation of the fall. Missed it a bit last week, I knew it had the most magnificent peak of the season while I was away, but this is still enough.

Hej Bibbi!

Hoppas att du/ni hade det great in London.
//Paula.

Oooootroligt vacker höstdag idag.

London var great, indeed!

Tjing Marika

oh wow, a long table would be stunning with your bowls; I'm overwhelmed, they're so great! I hope your cold improves so you can enjoy the fall color. You have a lovely place to work! :) What kind of tree? it looks like a dogwood.

I'll answer in English, hope it's alright with you.

Yes, it's the very same Sverker who has open studio this weekend, 12-16 both Saturday and Sunday. It's a pity I'm in Örebro, or we could have met.

I get your point (and I'm happy to get response!) but I wanted, this time, to make them feel more as part of ordinary life and not museum style displayed. I'll come back to that when I sorted out London pics, I was inspired by discussions as well as others' shows.

That is why I would like to put so many so close. The gallery is located in an open air museum, where many visitors are totally not at ease with visiting galleries. I would like my exhibition to be inviting and informal without corrupting the spirit of my work. We'll see if I get where I aim :).

Ginger for the cold, there you said something, I'm on my way!
Have a nice weekend, Bibbi

Thank you, Heather!

I don't know what the name is in English, will find out.

Yes, it is a lovely place, a former hospital park, hidden in the city. We have deers, rabbits, people say they've seen a moose, we had a badger under our house but it moved out. In the winter we have mice and lots of people walk their dogs here, so dogwood sounds right.

Cold followes the usual phases, I think it's not much left, all the best, Bibbi

I would love to see a moose! With all the animal life you have there it sounds even better, aahh. And you bring new meaning to dogwood :)
