cosy cold

You, who haven't experienced living close to the polar circle, might imagine it's awfully cold and dark. And it is. But it's also incredibly beautiful; long blue twilight hours, sparkling snow and frosted trees. Long icy walk in darkness and the reward of coming inside to the warmth and light. Cosy doesn't cover it. Beautiful doesn't either.

First day back at work was slow and nice. Frequent coffee breaks and long talks, not much work done.

Your photos are lovely - and the description of the cold you're enduring makes Paris - despite the snow - seem positively tropical! Thanks for sharing these lovely images.

Your pictures are very beautiful. I don't think I'd like to live in the coldness! But i must admit that the sceneries are beautiful :-)

What a beautiful atmosphere. Northern Europe has such a special light, I think, in winter. You share the atmosphere with us through these photos. I am very much enjoying looking at your work as well.
