open jewellery studio

I'm far away from home! Outside Kalix, a small place on the coast, far north and close to the Finnish border. Came here yesterday and haven't had an internet connection until now. Don't want you to miss the one and only open studio this weekend at Konstepidemin! Four skilled silver smiths and jewellery artists:

Ulla Holm, Sören Hellqvist, Cecilia Johansson, Tore Svensson November 3–4 at 12 - 16.

Tore and Cecilia is part of the group of
artists behind Hnoss Gallery at Konstepidemin. Hnoss celebrates the gallery's first 10 years with an exhibition at Röhss museum, 74 international exhibitors, spectacular show.

Nesting box, photo from Tore Svensson's website

Print and put together a free nesting box of Tore Svensson's.
Here he is interviewed at Klimt02, the international jewellery site.

And here am I, visiting my childhood places and my mother a few days. And meeting with good friends, the kind of friendships that never expire. Might come snow tomorrow. Forgot the camera cord and cannot post any photos from here and now, will come next week. Wish good friends for all this weekend!
