mid summer

Celebrating the summer solstice this year in a very relaxed way, with friends in the countryside. Lovely days with both rain and shine. Musts on the midsummer dinner table: season's fresh potatoes, strawberries and flowers.

Camilla Engman was a temporary neighbor all winter, subletting the studio next door to me at Konstepidemin. Now it's even better, she is a permanent resident in her own studio space since a few weeks.

Invited for premiere coffee break today, only worry it's so nice I stay too long instead of working hard as I should...

Slow and steady progress in my summer job. The deadline is set, September 1 all the elderly people move into their new place, mid August all little pieces must be in place. No stress.

In the park of Slottskogen was a one day exhibition a while ago, Tombola Parksalong. Great event, where the blooming shrubs in the azalea valley competed with the art pieces - installations as well as performances. Fun and heartly art event by Tombola, a group of Göteborg artists.

summer started

For me, summer starts today. I've worked franticallly at my office job, to make free time for studio work this summer. No stress ahead, just lots of hard work to enjoy.
